Our Programs

BAND

The Kamiak Show Band consists of 170-200 members from Mukilteo, WA, the band is well known throughout the Northwest for its large size and success at competitions. Kamiak Show Band currently competes in the Open Class in the NWAPA Circuit.

CHOIR

The Kamiak Choirs offer students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to participate in four different musical ensembles. The Choirs perform in a variety of choral ensemble festivals throughout the school year and have been recognized for excellence both statewide and internationally.  They have had opportunities to sing in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Canada, Spain, and all over the United States.

DANCE

The Dulcineas Dance Team is comprised of students in grades 9–12. In addition to performing at sports events, the team competes at local, regional, and state levels. Auditions are in the spring.

DRAMA

The Kamiak Drama Club is Troupe 3704 of the International Thespian Society. The theatre department produces 3 main stage productions including a festival of student-written work, a Winter Play, and a Spring Musical. Students participate both on-stage as performers, and off stage as technicians.

GUARD

As part of the KHS Show Band the Color Guard competes in marching band competitions in Local, Regional, and National Circuits.  The Varsity Winter Guard Team competes locally and nationally in the Scholastic Open and A Class Divisions.

JAZZ

Jazz is a mental attitude rather than a style. It uses a certain process of the mind expressed spontaneously through some musical instruments. I'm concerned with retaining that process. —Bill Evans

ORCHESTRA

Kamiak High School Orchestras consist of 3 main orchestras. Student musicians who play the violin, viola, violoncello, string bass, harp as well as brass and wind instruments have the opportunity to learn, rehearse and perform major symphonic works.​
